
Ingredients for 350 g of tahini:
Base
- 300 g
- 75 ml
Recipe:
Toast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan over medium-high heat.
Toast, stirring constantly, until golden.
I strongly recommend that you do not go anywhere while the sesame seeds are toasting – they burn very easily!
Transfer the toasted sesame seeds to a blender cup and add the vegetable oil. Use the blender to make a paste.
It will look like this at first.
Do not be embarrassed and keep blending. If the mixture is still too thick – add more oil a little at a time.
Store the finished tahini in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 2 weeks.
