Shall we take a look at cookies, my friends? It's such a wonderful treat - it's usually quick to bake, doesn't require any special tricks (with rare exceptions), and is always eaten with great pleasure. It also stores well, which means you can bake it a couple of weeks in advance and let it slowly come out of the cookie jar.
